Props to Other_hbk for using his mantra, I felt it was appropriate.

While the weekend was a good time, I fell into a Black Hole the other day.  Very miserable, then very angry.  Lifting at the gym didn't help, but it did fuel my performance.  It wasn't until well after dinner, into the apple pie and cosmo phase of the evening, that things seemed to lighten a bit.

The next day, like Kaizer Soze, it was gone.  I don't know what to fully attribute it to, but I can point at some factors:  a full night's sleep, several successful support calls, and frequent repetitions of "get over it."

In a less serious vein, let's talk about BMI for a moment, which I refer to as Body Mass Idiocy.  Does anyone know of a more accurate means to factor this?  The simple formula tells me that I'm overweight (at 27.4%), but it also (wisely) says that people who work out have a higher than normal number w/out being unhealthy.  Do you just say, "hey I work out, punk" and multiply the result by .8 or something?

I say it's a crock. :) A 5lb difference pushes me from upper end of normal into overweight, and my weight varies by 5lbs over the course of a day.

I only try to observe what I weigh first thing in the morning. Anything else is probably my body lying to me :)
