I probably am. I'm not happy, but then lots of people aren't happy in their jobs. I fixed a number of things today, and watching the rain helped calm me down. There are things I can do to better my attitude here, but it's rapidly becoming unsatisfying. First, get out of (tax) debt. Then, worry about more rewarding career.
So you think you will stay at it until you are out of debt? That is practical, and it lets you evaluate your job less in terms of personal happiness and more in terms of helping you achieve a specific goal, which is more easily quantifiable, and therefore might make it more endurable.
It would probably be too much effort/upheval to move right now. I can stay here until I'm pretty much in the clear. By then I'll know if I want to stick around or not. I will look at a few options as they come up.
