Xmortis was spectacular, between the pool and music and flirting. The rest of the weekend was much more subdued. Our DND game is about to move out of the frustrating phase and back to some high adventure, which I look forward to. I had a solid week of workouts so far without injuring anything. I also had a very pleasant date in a very loud restaurant. Plans are afoot for a second date, though it would be until I return from Poland due to both our travel schedules. I'll be in Montreal through the end of July, then she'll be in San Francisco, then I'll be in Poland. Yowza! Our apartment narrowly escaped a microburst storm that flattened dozens of trees three blocks down the street. Arlington was pummeled!

Plans for the ETC continue to roll along. The good: I should be getting a free miniature case customized for my army from a sponsor company. The bad: Our team captain didn't format our lists correctly, and we are taking a 20 pt. penalty on our score (which is pretty significant). That's out of my hands, though. We are reviewing T shirt designs, I'll post a picture when I get mine. Realistically speaking, I may not be able to make it to Prague in the time I have alloted. If I can't spend at least a full day there, it's just too rushed. My fallback plan is to spend that time in Berlin (which is hardly a bad thing) and then go to Gorzow.
