The Apocalypse returned to Xmortis, and folks were out in their best Mad Max fashions. I partlicularly liked Steve's breastplate made of car tires. My friend Stephanie met up with us there, we had a good time dancing and attempting to battle our way onto the pool table. Sara repelled my assault, but only barely. I'll be ready for that boot knife next time, roomie. Stephanie tried the Go Juice (whiskey, OJ, midori?) and said "It tasted like something you'd brew up after civilization has crumbled." She liked the Red Death a lot more. This weekend we take on Sin-O-Matic. She left to catch her train around midnight , and I tore up the dance floor to some awesome mid90-s and Wax Trax. Thrill Kill Kult! KMFDM! Doctorin' the Tardis!

Saturday I wholehearted immersed myself in some hobby love (after sleeping in WICKED late). Two units of Brettonian knights are primed and assembled, along with a pegasus knight and some men at arms. I did some more work on my White Lions, which need to be ready for the Colonial in April, though my enthusiasm is a bit low.

Sunday we spent half our DND game consumed by indecision and bickering until the DM had to step in. Fortunately we got back on track and foiled an attempt to breach the castle walls. We're not out of the woods yet, but at least we know exactly what we're doing next game.

It's been suggested that I start looking outside "my comfort zone" or "the Scene" to meet new people. I'll start investigating some of those options, but I gotta tell you it's hard to find a free night anymore: gaming nights, parties, movie nights, I have a busy calendar. More on that later, though.
