Tedious days and Awesome nights

Friday: When you are deep in your cups at the end of a night, mixing vodka into your cider is perfectly natural thing to do. Next time, bring more soda water! The Green Party was in unmitigated success. The fun didn't stop there, as two lovely ladies joined me back at my place.... for Rock Band! The concert continued until 4:30 or 5, and the neighbors didn't even notice. Score.

Saturday: A lovely long slow day. I picked up Stephanie and introduced her to Sin-O-Matic. My first night back in months. It was packed. The skits were the same old thing (Sarah Palin has a new career...) The dancers were their usually charming selves. Stephanie has some incredible endurance for dancing, and several old faces emerged from the darkness to share sweaty hugs *waves to Kirsten and Bianca* The night continues to be awesome.

Sunday: Another tournament with the high elves. I went 1-2 this time, so since I went 0-3 before, that's.... progress?

Monday - Wednesday: Work is very busy, and very crappy. Long, frustrating calls, tension that spills over into the evening. Surprise dinner with Tegin on Monday made for a great night, capped by watching Boondocks with Sara and Gene Dante. Rocking with Mathew yesterday, and tonight Chandra and I will figure out a way to shake out doldrums.

Tomorrow? I start the new army board project.
