Rebuilding
Dec. 10th, 2010 04:10 pmMonday: The Fighter is a great film, and especially fun for any Boston people out there. I watched with some of my Warhammer friends, and brought them to Ceremony afterward. I danced for a few songs. I hadn't been out there for a long time, and it felt nice (even if I was in mostly work clothes).
Tuesday: An awfully stressful day at work. Despite that, I used my new tools from therapy to defuse any explosions of anger, and kept my temper at manageable levels. All the work issues were resolved by day's end, and I got to enjoy my Mage game that night instead of sulking or sleeping the night away.
Wednesday: Work was much improved. The Fantasia gang took Sara out for her birthday dinner, where much deliciousness was had. Our chef got my order wrong, so I ended up with a double helping of beef for my dinner. The difference between regular steak and filet mignon is VERY noticeable when eating them side by side.
Thursday: The mechanics replaced my side view mirror. More money out the window, but now I can drive w/out worry. I wrapped up my latest Deadlands story, our posse is closing in on a logical ending point. Time to start fleshing out my 007 mage game.
Today: Short day due to another doctor visit. Productive like a madman at work today. Despite my co-workers insistance that this morning was super busy (and there were abvout seven tickets in the queue) there were no phone calls once I arrived. Somebody is protesting too much (the same someone who is off for two weeks at the end of the month, making it difficult for me to take time off for the holidays.) Things will work out.
