Tuesday and Thursday were days of epic fail at work. Exhaustion and ennui are a miserable mix. I'm firmly back on the CrossFit bandwagon, but trying to find the right balance of food to eat for it is tricky still. Most Crossfit people follow the paleo diet (lots of meat, nuts, and vegetables. It sounds suspiciously like the Atkins diet with a fancy new name). For now, as long as I stay away from large pastas for lunch, I should be OK. Wednesday was more energetic, as was today.

My weekday nights redeemed my days. There was lots of Mage goodness when an epically failed spell created a whole evening's worth of Requiem for a Dream style RP. Wednesday was Fantasia movie night, even though my guest didn't make it, I had a good time watching star crossed ninjas try to kill each other. Thursday was a group feast of Indian food at Jack's house, with lots of scrumptious leftovers for today. Tonight, my date for cocktails flaked on me (I am so not surprised) but my lunch date pulled through, with extremely tasty sandwiches. Tonight I'm seeing the Crucible, and it's being performed three blocks away from where I work. I think I'll just loiter on Newburry St. for a while, get a few drinks maybe, then check out the tunes.

Lots of awesomeness in store this weekend.
