See the Two Towers.
Then see it again.
I know you're going to see it (unless you have absolutely no interest in fantasy), but really, I mean, SEE it.
Breath taking, epic, exhausting, touching.
Incredible.

btw, someone mentioned at the theater that the wiseasses in the crew slipped in some action figures in random scenes and jackson didn't see them when they were cutting the film. there was too much going on and too many pretty things to look at. i didn't spot any if they're in the movie.

Date: 2002-12-18 02:24 pm (UTC)yeah. very true. i knew beforehand that the battles were going to be computer generated. i tried to pick out when who were/weren't generated. honestly, you can't tell.

And dwarf throwing is always good comedy.

gollum was amazing, as were the fight scenes.
it's also interesting because the majority of the dialong is the same, and it's coming from a book that was written a long time ago. it is a movie out of time and place, like a really snazzy remake of an old 30's movie.
all the geeks must hang, so the rest of us can enjoy the movie ;)
i also need to reread the book and see where things changed.
