So many things to say.

Filled much of my work day talking with the Sarcastic One about the state of our game, and recruiting me to run things next year. I was initially standoffish, but I remembered the fun I had weaving character backgrounds together, creating the frame of a story, and running scenes for people. I'm good at it, I'm just resistant to anchoring myself to it right now. I've had to give up many other hobbies and events for game this year, I would like to have those options, that freedom.... yet I am addicted to telling stories. Damn.

Went back to the gym today. VNV carried me through half an hour of running, then hit the weights. If I could just get a little more tone... things would be good. My general size and shape is good, hell it's great. I just need to chisel away a little bit. Or I could just not give a damn. Nah. Working out is my version of body modification. I'm not likely to get a tattoo or piercing, but I can still shape my body, change it. It just takes longer this way.

I finally made dal bat. The lentils were a little mushier than I'd like, but the flavor is good. Practice will make perfect.

Mobilejessie says I am a good dancer. Nothing like getting compliments on something I love to do. The usual posse was absent from ManRay tonight, instead there was a new posse, which was nice to see. The music carried me tonight, I thrashed and shimmied in it's arms, shaking and grinding and leaping about. I'd like to think the angeldustrial girls were checking me out, its certainly possible. They are pretty, but are they interesting? There certainly don't measure up to.... ahem.

There was also a very pleasant interlude.

And rather than wait until tomorrow morning to capture my feelings and imprison them here, I choose to do so now. One of thes nights I will join Vicissitude and others for post ManRay revels. But tonight, I gift my body with the rest it so richly deserves.

Six and one half hours. Don't worry me. You will get real sleep. Soon.

Honest!

Some of the best scenes I've ever had were with you in TMDG. Please run? Pretty please? With Sugar (aka CouplingChaos) on top? ;P (Hee hee.) Come on, I mean it. I would be ecstatic if you ran with Sarcy. It would be great to see it again. :)

I concur

As someone who appreciates good documentation, you're the best there is at getting everything down in cold hard facts. Makes it a lot easier to HTML-ize. 8)

Which reminds me, I need to finish that status update...

heh.... it's a quandry I tell you... honestly, it's a war between the desire to run a game, and the freedom of doing other things. At least now, that war is up in the air. Are you reading this Sarcy? I may run. Maybe I can work a system out with you and Steve...

Well, since my idea is based on three seperate looks and feels to the game, and no real need for consensus since each ST is responsible for their own bag (it's more a meeting to see what's being missed and bounce ideas around)...what's the prob?

part of it is the idea of running a character and interacting with people alot, but also being able to run scenes. And to set up a good framework so character have relationships right off the bat.

I really enjoy crafting a game. I do trust you to listen better than some people I've worked with.

Then help us craft and then do an NPC to hit the parts of the game you want to improve.

I imagine that I could do that. There are some other issues Tricia was reminding me about being STs. Like meetings. The club needs to have them, and I dont' want to be the one going to every meeting. You and Steve live out of state, so I don't expect you to be at them.

One could argue that the officers could just run meetings with administrative stuff, and people can just consult us with email questions. If I join you guys, I'd want to put out email or web page updates for the game every 2 weeks at least, to keep the interest up.

Simple, we take a rotating meeting schedual. One of us shows to each one in a 3 way rotation. Steve has no job and will prolly be at Emerson by then anyway. And I work in Burlington so I can scoot into town for a meeting every 3 weeks.

And I think the regular updates are a cool thing. Perhaps it's time for the Nos writer to make his reappeaarnce and start leaking out rumors and such between games?

Lentils...

The orange lentils always come ot runny cause they're smaller, the yellow come out drier cause they're bigger... the combination of the two is probably the best idea I ever had.

And hey, motherfucker, where's my sample!?

I imagine I'll have some leftovers when I get home tonight. Which you of course are welcome to partake in.

Um, sure, great, it's nice that you think so.
(I think I know what you are talking about, but I'm not positive). Besides those pictures can't be worse than Tang and MobileJessies.
