jchrisobrienThe housewarming party was a great success. Playing with the human cat toy was a lot of fun, and Brian showed off his drunken master skills. Special props to Laruen for bringing a bottle of Kraken rum to the party. There were good talks with Tricia as well. I even talked to a few new faces!
Saturday I slept in late, but still managed to get all the cleaning finished, and snuck in a game of Warhammer. My High Elves did fine for the first four turns, then got swept away by magic. The Post Mortem was smaller this year, competing parties, club nights, bitter cold weather, and various illnesses robbed us of some familiar faces. I did have a good time for most of the night, including a costume change for making bacon. A few days later, something about it seemed off.
Sunday I slept in later, went to our DND game, and handed off most of the investigation plot to NPC's, as our fighter heavy party were ill equipped to be sleuths. Monday I took to myself and watched almost an entire season of Dr. Who. My abs and triceps were all torn up from a vicious workout over the weekend. I've scheduled some massage this Sunday to work out the knots.
Today, was a brain implosion day. I weathered by having enough work to do and distracting myself. Thankfully I confirmed my therapy appointment on Thursday, let's see how much I can build back on my own.
