Work, travel, and foot stress all overwhelmed me yesterday. What saved me was a really good steak from McKinnon's Market (how did I miss this place all these years?) and my Deadlands group. Even though we were down one player and down to a monthly schedule (at least until the holidays are over), they really got into their characters and created a shared, fun experience. The cliffhanger ending caught them all by surprise, and left the excited for our next game. These are the reasons I love gaming.

This weekend I'm visiting friends in NYC, and will still be back in Boston in time for a "movie and drinks" date. Next week is already booked with good things. This is my life!
