Sherlock Holmes and his Furious Fists!

I saw the trailer for the upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie. Prepare to be disappointed.



Apparently Sherlock Holmes in an action hero now. He gets into fist fights, staff fights, gun fights, dodges explosions, and get handcuffed to bedposts. He's also a complete hedonist (which is bit of a fair comment considering the drug use), and the plot has something to do with magic or satanism or people rising from the dead? I suppose it could be fun, but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of deduction going on.



This is not your father's Sherlock Holmes. Unfortunately.

It could be awesome, it's just seems very anti-cerebral. Holmes never struck me as a brawler. :)

They have Robert Downey JR playing Sherlock Holmes... with that pieces of info alone, you don't need to watch the preview to know how this movie is going to play out.

I don't know, I'm thoroughly excited and aroused. And I noticed a character is played by the crazy guy from Happy-Go-Lucky, which also amuses me.
