Flu shot!

Just got it at work. Expecting an afternoon of wooziness and lack of appetite. Too bad this isn't Bat Count.... woah! where did all these rats come from!

I don't think flu shots are evil.

I have gotten flu shots for the past few years, as my empoyers provided them free-o-charge...its kinda to their benefit to keep me healthy and not making claims on their short term disability insurance while I am wracked in bed, aching, shivering, and sexually aroused....but that's another story.

There is no chance of actually contracting the flu from the vaccine, as none of the little buggers are viable. I liken the shot to giving the garments of a fugitive to a pack of hounds, allowing the dogs to pursue the scent of the evil-doer. But did you ever wonder why they warn people who are allergic to eggs to avoid the vaccine???

I think the vaccine is grown inside chicken eggs. Something like that.
