Jan. 30th, 2007 11:15 amMonday night was seriously off kilter: no poi, no Ceremony. I have to figure out the best way to manage my time on Monday night. Since I stay in town late, it makes more sense to go directly to pot for a few hours, then take the T home, then drive back in for Ceremony. I could stay out of the house all that time, but that would mean bringing multiple changes of clothes, and doesn't really give me any time for relaxing in between events.
You'd think I'd be all awake and refreshed for getting a good night's sleep, but I'm wicked tired today. It also seems my training course that I'm going to Tampa for is full. That didn't stop the company from charging me for the course though. That will get straightened out with a quickness.
Damn! I filed my state taxes on Saturday, and I have my refund alreadys. Now that's "with a quickness!"

Date: 2007-01-30 04:31 pm (UTC)The trick that I found, to reduce amount of clothing, was to pick pants to wear to work that I could wear to the club as well, and just bring a new top. But my workplace is pretty casual, I can always get away with black jeans. If I actually want to bring footwear good for dancing, though, that weighs me down.
When I was going out more often, I'd also budget for a cab home at the end of the night if I knew I was going to stay late (and didn't have my bike) - taking the T back from that area is annoying (20mins by bike, over an hour by T).

It's doable though. If you have the option getting back home for a bit, maybe you could switch off the weeks that you do that.
