I spent the early parts of my birthday enjoying more of Battlestar Galactica. Theamazingjb stopped by and swept me away to Salem. Our plans for cider and nachos were foiled, but we found a decent lunch and then hit some very cheesy Halloween museums. The wax museums was the neatest of the bunch for the actual sized Pumpkinhead model. We tried to get my picture with it, but the lighting was too bad. theamazingjb wanted me to pose next to Leatherface. I moved close... and the figure started to move, a great buzzing rising from the chainsaw. No lie. I moved by it again and again it shifted! She wanted to try standing on the other side. I said hell no, I know how horror movies work, I'll get close to make sure it just didn't really do that and BUZZZZZZZZZ eviseration for my birthday? No thank you!

The night rounded out with tasty vietnamese soup with my roommate, and cracking a 4 year bottle of mango mead while watching the Buffy series finale. There was no sushi for my birthday, because Monday is a bad day for it. (Tomorrow, however....) There will be no dancing either, since my car is in the shop. However, if anyone wants to raise a toast to my health NEXT monday night, I won't stop you. It will be a lot more fun to observe my birthday during Ceremony's birthday, after all.
