The new recipie I tried last night (new orleans style red beans and rice and sausage) was a success.  I'll have two more tasty lunches to look forward too.  It didn't put me to sleep, either.  In fact, despite a late night conversation with my roommate and getting up early, I haven't been excessivly tired all day.

I used to give theamazingjb grief because she was too busy to hang out, until I sat down recently and realize that I too am too busy to hang out.  The rest of my week and weekend is pretty booked.

Last weekend the dice treated me rough.  My social "battles" were much more enjoyable.  It's scary how much of the Electric Company I remembered from my childhood.  What I didn't remember was how cool Morgan Freeman was.  One of the nicest parts of the weekend was going through a friend's old photos.  A room full of people looking over each other's shoulders, staring at ten years worth of memories.  We laughed at old haircuts and "spacy" faces.  We marked the introduction of new members to the group.  We say old relationships and sighed at how things had changed.  It was a great way to end the night.  Much better than getting a ticket, which the policeman who pulled us over was kind enough not to give us.

Missing license plate light?  I'll get right on that, officer.

saturday was fun! was that the cop on 84? i so almost blew past him at more than 85. probably crested that hill at 80. doh! glad you didn't get a ticket.

the pictures were so rad. and really, that wasn't so long ago! but my, how 5-6 years looks like eons when you see how young everyone was. i'm looking forward to winter to get back into scanning mode. i've got a small set of old netgoth pix & a few of the manray float in the cambridge st. patrick's day parade. (best. float. ever!) that was when my friends and i knew none of the regulars.

I think it's just old enough for there to be a difference in aging, but we don't look so old now. Pictures are really cool, I wish I took more of them. Hell, I just got a camera now, so I could start. After this many years have gone by, it's hard to build up the momentum.

Missing license plate light?

It could be legit. It could be he was hoping I was drunk, or speeding, or going to give him a hard time.

the story had a happy ending, that's what counts.

Yeah. You're right, and I'm glad it did have a happy ending!

I would, once again, like to state for the record,
I am the plan maker here.

You ignore me, until I practically beg you to hang out.
And I believe that you owe me a cider from the burren.
Just sayin.

I ignore everyone as of late

You are indeed the plan maker.

And I always pay my debts. If not this Thursday, or Friday, then soon.

I have copious time off during the day next week, and you have a flexible schedule. Hmm....
