10 things that make me feel happy to be alive
1. The endorphine high after a good run or workout, when your body is thrumming like a drum.
2. The fresh electric feeling of a shower, tousled hair still damp and fresh
3. A plate that is full (but soon to be empty) of sushi
4. A crisp, sweet glass of my favorite cider (Strongbow or Original Sin)
5. Losing myself on the dance floor
6. The seamless blending on one song to another by the excellent DJ's at Ceremony
7. Spending a quiet evening catching up with my friends
8. Spending a raucous evening with a group of my friends
9. Summer sunsets on my back porch
10. A warm, breezy day.
and the bonus answer is
11. THUNDERSTORMS. Simple, but so rare in New England.
