So, my birthday is coming up. I thought about having festivities on the 22nd, as my birthday is on a Sunday, until I found out that half a million parties, weddings, and other events are already going on that night.

Not that I couldn't go ahead with my plans anyway, but commitments have already been made.

Hmm. Must consider options....

Mine is the day after Thanksgiving. The only upside is that my entire family (and my cousin's family who are in town for her wedding) are contractually obligated to bring phat lewts to Thanksgiving dinner for me.
I always miss having a party for it.

That is a plus to the occasion. It could be worse, having a birthday on Christmas, or New Year's. Actually, NYE birthday party could be the mother of all parties, but you are guaranteed not to remember anything about it the next day!
