The Red Tide Washes Ashore

The working theory is that i'm having an allergic reaction to an insect bite.  There are dotted lines on my arm where the doctor outlined the edges of the swelling.  I've started taking antihistamines and antibiotics for the swelling.  The redness has already expanded about an inch further down my arm.  I'll give the new medication a day or so to kick in before I get worried.

Phase one of Improving My Life has been a success so far.  Phase two has begun.  It will be more difficult, but it will be a success too.  Then I too can start posting deliriously happy things here as well.  Or would that be out of character? Hmmm.

I told mrzero that I'm going to make all the students in my future lab refer to pilot/exploratory research as "underpants collection."
