My brief anger at getting out at the wrong T stop was mitigated by the realization that I was right outside Filene's basement. About fifteen minutes later I walked back onto the T with a fine black Nautica topcoat. Take that, winter!

Ceremony was a trying time last night, due to being snubbed and getting bad news. An old Sister Machine Gun track finally pulled me out on the dance floor, and shook things up a bit. It turns out that I jumped to conclusions about the whole being snubbed thing. Take that, me!

Today I am fighting off a cold, again. This is far too soon for me to be getting sick. I will beat this cold into submission with a good night of rest (for a change). No more nightmares tonight, please? The last few about job anxiety, couples, animated malls, and sharks have just about done my nut in, thanks.

(PS - I meant to post this around 10, it's now 4:30. Crikey!)

Tom's of Maine has this amazing Echinacea tonic that you may want to try. Not sure where to get it, although I did see it at the co-op in Central.

I took it earlier this season when I thought I might be coming down with something, and it worked wonders.

It tastes kind of weird, but not in an entirely bad sort of way.

Sleep! Sleep is the best thing you can do. Sleep and oh, this: my friend Julia (starkeymonster on lj, great fun) recommends hot water, honey, lime juice, and a shot of bourbon. She says it makes the aches and grumpiness go away and you're getting liquids, which is always good.

Note the icon. That was me today, because it was 75 degrees in Macon. I miss winter.
