Even though it was cold out, I had to take an extra slow walk back to my car, just so I could enjoy the moonlight for a few minutes more. Thunderstorms are probably my favorite natural phenomena. I hadn't realized how much I liked moonlight nights, when everything is glowing, and a crisp wind curls around you like wire, and the leaves skitter over the ground. It's magical, but that's too vague. It's hauntingly beautiful. Yeah, that'll work.

i just did the same thing :) there is something very magical about being out alone at night when everyone is asleep and the moon is bright and high in the sky :)

Thunder and lighting is the opposite of moolight to me. Storms are energetic, passionate, and ferocious. They awe you with their might. Moonlit nights are mysterious, ghostly, and seductive. They transport you away from the normal. Both have their own type of beauty.

yay for the moon!

it was beautiful, wasn't it?

i took a walk back to my house last night down a street i hadn't walked before. the way the moon lit up the clapboards was ghostly! being so late it all felt abandoned and i really wanted to go wander around some of the back yards to see the view they apparently had being up on a small ridge.

my favorite part was my shadow cast by the moon, ever so barely visible even as i walked under streetlights.

I love seeing moonshadows. I love the idea of being able to read at night, under the moon.

poetic

I can't wait until the summer again, so I can take long walks at night in the moonlight.

I like to get out of my city whith my friends (we usually take some blankets and thermos of hot coffe)and stay near our artificial lake - it's very nice to see some sparcles of moonlight on the on the water surface... We are sitting in silence or whith quiet music...

What a wonderful time! Does it ever get warm out there, or are you perpetually chilly?

I was watching meteors one night, and I took a bean bag chair to put on the ground, and wrapped myself in a blanket. The air was very chilly, but I was toasty and warm.

There is nothing so magical it seems as the full moon lighting up a snow covered field... I sat once and just watched in awe.
