These are a few of my favorite things.

The cyclone of cool air that greets me when my eyes open. Hercules scratching in his cage, noise quivering. The shortened morning commute. Sitting on the new love seat (the Love Seat... promising something for everyone), watching movies with a tray full of sushi. The sunsets sent from the Gods themselves that paint the sky over my back porch. Neighbors who like the music I play. A roommate that rocks my socks off. The feeling I get, navigating the darkened apartment, that in the span of a few weeks this new space feels like a home.

In other news, this weekend is already shaping up to be an awesome time. I've been painting like mad to prepare for it, but it will be all worth it. And there will be more merriment on Friday, perhaps Saturday too.
