If ever there was a good night
To drive your car into the Charles
And feel the cold water
Drown all your sorrows.
Then tonight.
Was that.
Night.

I passed out after that, and spent the majority of the day alone. That helped, for you. As did your reply. Thank you.

There is very little in this world that cannot be made better by extra cookies. Thank you.

*hugs back*

This is what happens when I have a cold, cynical bastard to watch my back, instead of a warm cynical bastard, such as yourself. ;)

Always be sure of your wingmen.

The idea of cold water right now just made me shiver violently. Ugh. Could I down my sorrows in warm water?

You could. Cold was what I needed that night, a lack of feeling.

What I really need is a liberal does of shut the hell up, and the drive to keep trying. I think I found that drive after I sobered up the next day.

You did nothing, fear not.
I was the one who contributed to your bad night, and I'm sorry about that. The only drink I'll be buying for you in the future is water. Perhaps we can both keep an eye out for the other. Thank you.

no drowning, check.

One of these days, I'll get my drama queen self in check. I'll keep trying to, anyway.

Btw, I did like the Matrix. You were right.

I dove headfirst into anger, and self-doubt.
The day after my black night, I had a very pleasant surprise that dispelled my self-doubt.

The end result is a neutral state, but a hopeful one.

I'm glad you liked Revolutions, and thank you for checking on me.

I know all those emotions, myself...some more recent than others.

Glad you are optimistic and feeling better.

I just posted something more about all of that.

Here's hoping the memory of our good emotions can carry us through the bad.
