erm...i'd go with the money, which is odd, because generally i'm relatively idealistic, but what with the market and stuff, switching jobs and losing pocket change seems risky.

If it does, and it appears to be a good chance to learn new stuff that you will be able to put to good use (i.e. ask for more than you are currently making or finding a better-paying job after some time), I'd take the cut -- as it would really be a sort of investment (or gamble, but I've always had better luck at the tables myself!).
yeah, maybe it's just the unemployed girls for this....but if the pay cut offered opportunities for raises and advancement, i'd jump at it - it'd just be a temporary loss then, and experience *is* worth so much more in the long run.....
