There was a little free time before my mage player's showed up, which I put to good use by cleaning the
House. Although the first part of the game meandered,
Events wound their way to a satisfying conclusion. Though I need to make more durable villains.

Who knew that Schoolbound would be so crowded? One should never doubt the
Eternal appeal of women dressing up as high school girls.
Enticing? For some. For others, the allure of the kinky evening is secondary to the
Kinetic pleasure of dancing. The floors quickly grew packed, but
Every so often you could create some space in the whirling melee.
No sooner was I ready to decry the lack of room and call it a night, the stage was opened up for
Dancing, and for a few brief minutes I danced in the shadows of the delicious dancers, and cast a little light of my own.

What should have been an easy choice kept me tense and guessing all day on Saturday, until the evening wore on
And I made my decision. My search for drinks turned into an epic quest to six different stores, none of which had the
Strongbow I was craving. I thought the night would end in frustration, but instead there was pleasant warmth and connection.

Genial conversation over cheesy eggs and a dubious looking but tasty mixture of
Of honey and yogurt. Brief fears of sinking into the woodwork fade away, as it's not always necessary to be
On stage all the time. A few quiet words here and there, laughter, and the knowledge that just because you are quiet
Doesn't mean you are forgotten are enough to sustain and placate you, until it's time to depart.

The stage is open for all, but many nights they keep people off of it in between rehearsals. It depends on how complicated the skits are and how much time is between them.

I want a special dispensation to dance until the last minute!

phew. i was worried i had danced where it was verboten.

yeah, inbetween skits it makes sense - at least when they're complex or prop-heavy.

I'm glad your weekend was good. ;)

the line breaks (as your entry is displayed on my friends page) made me read this in poetry voice and it all seemed very profound.

Mainly, I was trying to be clever about my weekend. I've been very inspired by some of my friend's writing, and I want to try to put some more effort into mine. I tried to put the linebreaks in deliberately. I'm glad it worked!

Clever! I was about halfway through when I caught on to what you were doing. And hey, I've been meaning to say that I'm very glad that things seem to be working out for you.

Thank you very much. My life seems to be on an upswing right now. It's easy to fall prey to moments of doubt and ennui, but if I take time to compare my situation and buckle down, I notice that things are nice. Very nice. Indeed.

hey, did trent ever respond to your email?

if not, just shoot him and mike (smudgetheignored@yahoo.com) and tell them you would like to dance for october (it's a vampire/warewolves theme).

if trent doesn't respond to that one, mike should...if not, let me know.

He never did.

I'll throw that out there for them.

I wasn't able to find Strongbow either, nor did I have time to check Wine and Cheese Cask for pear cider, so I settled for a six pack of Magners. It's growing on me, I didn't like it much the first time I tried it.
I'm glad that Saturday night went well for you.

Saturday night was perfectly relaxing, considering how stressed I was in my search for Strongbow. There was also the matter of driving all over the area, and getting hit by a door.

I just needed a few moments to crash on your mighty mighty bean bag chair with a drink. Then the healing could begin. ;)
