Piss off, Freddie

I've been plagued with nightmares for the past few days. They've covered a wide range of images and intensity. Themes of frustrated voyeurism and vicious arguments among and with friends raged through them, but there were surreal elements about them that reminded me that I was, in fact, dreaming.

The last one was far too real. I didn't know if it was suicide or an accident, but two people jumped off my roof while I was sleeping. I didn't see any of it, as I was lying in bed. I could hear it, and had to imagine what was going on outside. Not seeing the details, just hearing the sounds of feet and sudden silence, made it completely realistic.

I had to look twice at the street in the morning, to make sure there were no police cars around.

Last night I slept w/out dreaming, and am very thankful for it.

This is my hair standing on end: !!!!! See how your story straightened it?

Yes, I like those dreamless nights, too.

Heh -- I was having an anxiety dream last night, but then realized I was dreaming due to my implausible outfit: blue jeans, and an indie-rock style orange t-shirt. Had to be a dream!

I had a scary dream last night. It had evil old shrivelly women in it coming to my house to get me and my mom. I tried to throw ice water on them, but after I scared myself into semi-consciousness and was able to arm myself with the violence of my choosing, nothing reassured me that it would work.

That hopeless feeling is an ugly part of my nightmares.
