but I will have 2 weeks of work coming up, doing a computer roll out in the Prudential Center. I'll worry about the hassles of unemployment and the like later. The way I look at it now, it's a foot in the door. Maybe the company I'm working for will like my work and want to keep me on. Maybe the agency will like my work and put me on more assignments.

People have been saying keep your chin up, and something will happen. I've been doing it, but I also recognized that maybe nothing will happen.

This, I would say, is definitely something.

Definitely a good thing... extends unemployment by a few weeks, since it's temporary, while holding the potential for more work. Good luck!
