My car has been rescued

I dropped off some money in the bank, and then took it out again to pay for the tow.
I fired off an e-mail to the folks at Ritual Design for the last of my reimbursement.
They responded today, after the paypal fee it exactly covers the cost of the tow. Score.

Within 3-4 days time, I will be back where I was. Which isn't very good.

I called the student loan office, they are sending me a deferment form so I don't have to pay them for a little bit.
I will be selling at least one more Warhammer army.

I am also going to try to enjoy my time up here over the next month and a half, in case I end up moving away.

So, a question for my readers: What other jobs should I be applying for, i.e., what else could you see me doing and doing well? Besides help desk, or painting miniatures.

would you be direly allergic to retail, at least as a stopgap measure until something better comes along? I could see you in a bookstore, I think (or certainly in a gaming shop, though they probably pay terribly, worse than bookstores anyway).

Or how do you feel about high school students? Maybe you could parlay your help desk experience into a good background for tutoring, not just in computer stuff but also in whatever topics you always excelled in. Again, not big bucks, but probably better than UI...

I wouldn't be allergic to retail, or sweeping, or nighttime security. The only issue is making sure I make enough money to pay for my rent and bills. If I can make that, I will settle for anything.
