Making time

jchrisobrienToday was a marvelous day. It's very important that I talk about marvelous days, that they not slip through the cracks. Especially when I take pains to write about depressing, angsty days. A balanced journal is a healthy part of my diet. What made the day go so well were good conversations online, some fine homemade food, and a lot of painting and base making. I also sent out a few more resumes into the void.
Now that I can sit and look at the nearly finished product, my elven cavalry looks very sweet. I am most pleased.
With any luck I'll get a job just as I finish the army, so I don't have to start my NEXT one right away.
I also noticed today how good I felt. How really, really good. Bad to the bone kind of good. I think I'm going to ride this feeling into spring and see where it takes me.
The big goal for tomorrow is to get a haircut before Angel and clubbing.
