Sunday is the traditional day of cleaning at La Casa de Sangra. Occasionally, I clean on Saturday, but normally I'm off and about doing something. Sunday, without fail, is a chance to catch on the housework, making sure that things are mostly clean and presentable. It's not always the entire house, but at least a portion of it. Today I cleand the kitchen, and straightened up the living room. I left my roommate's stuff out, so he knows where everything is tomorrow. Did you ever had the situation where you were rushing somewhere, and you are looking for X (whatever that may be) and you can't find it because someone moved it while they were cleaning? I hate that, so I don't subject the Roomie to it.
Anyway, today wasn't all work. I traveld up to Salem and played a game of 40k with Mvoid. This time around he was triumphant, but a lot of fun (and good Chinese food) was had. Important tactial lessons were learned on both sides.
I picked up some more miniatures at 50% off today. The owner of a store in Medford died a few months ago, and his wife was shutting down the store. She's leaving it open long enough to sell as much product as she can, before she shuts it down. There's something bitter about saving money under such conditions, but on the other hand, every little bit helps her out too. Even so. They were married for a good long time, much longer than most marriages I know. I can't imagine what it's like losing your partner after that long. And I don't look forward to finding out.
