Spring is coming
Mar. 21st, 2013 03:22 pmNow that I have my new car, I can once again do things like see the doctor and continue my therapy. Last session was extremely productive. I arrived late and in a huff after awaking and being snowed in. I shoveled the entire rear of my driveway in half an hour, then had to deal with slow cars and poor drivers. During the session, as we talked about facing situations and mastering our response to them, I worked my way out of that earlier mood and was in great spirits by the end. There's other stuff for me to ponder, but I'll spare you that.
Saturday I tried out some armies and submitted my list for the tournament this weekend, then drove to Sin-O-Matic. I've never taken so long finding a parking spot, and then standing in line to enter the club, and I've been attending since it first opened. A few drinks later put me in a good mood. A few drinks after that took me right out of it. I recovered masterfully the next day, but there's a lesson to be learned about limits, which I will be implementing immediately.
My old phone finally died (I can hear people I call, but they can't here me). I did a bit of research and almost picked up a Galaxy 3, but in the end went with the Droid DNA. It fits better in my hand, which is the ultimate deal breaker for phone shopping. If you know how big my hands are, you'll understand. What will be the next new thing in my life? Any guesses?
