Some news is good news
May. 25th, 2012 02:32 pmTwo weeks have flown by, weeks of dreary rainy days capped by bright sunny weekends. My recent club adventures have all been rousing successes. I started a big project at work, installing a new AV client on all our computers. As of today, I have most of our users protected and can start on the others next week. That was a big success, what's less successful is our Kaseya server blowing up while I tried to update it. We haven't been able to remote out all day, which is a drag, but if we are desperate to contact people we can always do it the old fashioned way and call them. Just remember, there is no such thing as a Simple Software Upgrade.
I went on two OKCupid dates during that span: one at the Beehive for drinks, one to see the Avengers. I could tell the Beehive one wasn't going well, but I thought the Avengers movie worked well. She said she does travel a lot, but I haven't heard from here in two weeks. I'll send her one more message and then let her go. I briefly considered shaving my sideburns off to see if that improved my dating odds, but rejected the idea. If my sideburns put you off, you're not really worth my time. I may shave them anyhow, but only because I'm not as crazy about them as I used to be. Purely my own reason.
Sara and I tested the grill, and it's working fine. This weekend will be another Memorial Day cookout. If for some strange reason you are reading this and didn't get a Facebook invite, you're invited. Leave me a message if you need details to get to the House of Sweet Wines. I'm looking forward to a fabulous weekend, and reveling in our new sunny days. The plastic on the windows is coming down, the possibilities of spring are in the air.
