And it's April
Apr. 9th, 2012 12:43 pmI closed out March with a trip to the Colonial GT in New Jersey. I didn't place as highly as I'd like, but I had some fun games and put quite a dent in a big bottle of Kraken. This past weekend I had a small retirement touirnament for the old Empire army book (long live the new Empire army book) and am excited to test out the new toys.
I saw the Hunger Games and Game of Thrones season 2 episode. I loved the Hunger Games, but not the shaky cam part. A repeat viewing is likely in my future. Game of Thrones should be exciting; I heard they are splitting the events of Clash of Kings and Strom of Swords into three seasons.
Socially I went to a few birthday parties, the opening of a new club night (where it was thrilling to see some old out of town friends), and a Easter tequilla party. I tried several new brands of tequilla, grilled up some tasty burgers and lamb, and had a pretty chill time. I'm also on the waitlist for spring Wildfire.
I'm really looking forward to The Cabin in the Woods this weekend.
