The Terrible Tues-day
Dec. 20th, 2011 04:59 pmUsually by this time of day I have a major headache, and today is an exceptional example of that. Nevertheless, a recap.
A house party in Somerville, with a mixture of Goth and Spinjam friends, and lots of younger kids with few shirts and lots of glow-in-the-dark make up. It was a like a little trip back in time to college, fortunately most of us didn't look out of place there. I stayed until a decent hour eating jello shots and sharing run. One one occasion I had two redheads on either arm, now that is something you don't see every day!
Sunday saw another pummeling of my poor knights against an army of dwarfs. Curse their vile war machines! It will soon be time for a big list overhaul. Saturday evening I attempted to do a whirlwind tour of several parties. In the end I succeeded in going to Sin O Matic and an after party. Big thanks go to Jess and her phone for helping us navigate the winding streets around Sullivan Square. My first night back at Sin O Matic was good; I met an old friend who thought I'd moved out of Boston (!) There was much chatting and dancing, it was extremely nice catching up with Bianca. She still looks amazing, has an incredible job, and is interesting in learning more about the fire arts. The after party was an amazing time that managed to be filled with wild kinetic energy and quiter chill moments, all overlapping each other. The energy was contagious, and the minutes turned to hours before we dashed out of the building and returned home sometime around four.
The most I managed Sunday was laundry, and that was more than alright.
Monday dragged as it always does. I did make it Spin Jam (yay!) and worked on more rope dart. Afterward I passed on clubbing, getting sleep and recover was more important. I watched Moon instead, which was definitely what I was in the mood for. That film is utterly amazing, and will probably be a keeper at some point. See it you haven't already, and you like Good Science Fiction. The computer was the cutest thing ever.
Oh Vile Tuesday. So full of messy computer problems and growing rage. So glad you are just about over and I can try to relax tonight.
