$eek your Match!
My mouse hovered over the submit button. I had updated my old match.com profile, though I never committed to buying the service. This is a new year, and while I'm feeling comfortable and content in my own skin for the moment I recognize that good things happen to those who try. The initial offering price is reasonable, but they want all six months payment up front.
My mouse moved up to the X in the corner of my screen and clicked on it.
It is tempting to try something new, and even advisable considering the state of the scene, but financially I feel better putting off the Active Search for a month or two. Once a few big hurdles are out of the way, and once my savings starts to grow (and when my taxes arrive) I'll take the big plunge. The Christmas cash I received will be better spent helping me fly to San Francisco for a end of winter adventure, maybe allowing for a jaunt to L.A. as well?
