tired, bored
bored, tired.

Have a haircut today, I should go to the gym aftewards but I may just go home and rest.. Debating on watching a movie at the Brattle tomorrow night or dancing.

The sky is grey and lobotmizing, and my body conspires to shorten my entry again. Yet discipline is the writer's friend.

Back to "work". Mentual stimulation later.

There's always the silver lining....

a grey sky is good for car washing :)

And when the sky is grey, I can always pretend it's the color of television turned to a dead channel, and I can imagine myself as the hero in a William Gibson novel.

Which is pretty convincing when I look out my window and see the gritty streets of Boston near South Station.

Back to work on my Ono-Sendai VII (so dated!)

I revisited his Neuromancer trilogy a while back. It's a shame the genre became so dated so quickly. It seems to reflect the very nature of techology: hot today, junk in two weeks.

I was just telling a co-worker that an 866 mhz computer would be fine for home use, when another help desk tech said the latest computers have a 1.7 ghz processor in them. Yikes!

YAH!!! I KNOW!!!!

But what the real pain is....

is they cost less than the 866mhz (when it was new.)

I think mine is a 450 :) And I only got it in early 99! I reaaaallllly wanna upgrade.

This is really the time to buy up and enjoy, cause soon as the economy picks up, the prices are gonna skyrocket....aw...who am I kidding, this economy is junk until our pseudo-president finally gets kicked out in 2004...how many days left?
