This could have been the worst night ever.

But thanks to a lot of people (tegin, M, photiq, talesindaughtr, couplingchaos, lepridosien, sara, shivar, mothra, theamazingjb, mishak, annabelle)

The night was worth the price.

Thanks to all of you for making it so. That being said, I could do w/out this kind of stress EVER again.

Good night, and god bless.
Like many of the rest of us in New England, I was snowed in today. I did a lot of painting during the day, but still found time to watch some movies. I love it when I rent two unrelated films that have the same actors in them by accident. Rent? Netflix? Is that a verb? Anyhow.

Last time this happened it was a Jeremy Sisto double feature (May and Wrong Turn). Today it was the lovely Sue Qi in The Transporter and So Close. The Transporter was pretty awful. Sue was woefully underused in this film, you'd think she was just some fluffy actress. I grinned to see Transporter rip off a lot of classic scenes, like the Indiana Jones style truck chase at the end. Some shots were lifted from True Lies too.

In So Close, Sue Qi is one of two sister's who wage a war against a criminal empire. It's much more stylish and has the benefit of HK action fare in it. A very enjoyable picture, one I'll probably watch again before I return it.

Another week of work beckons, and this weekend we'll be hosting a party. Should be interesting...
