Monday's Evil Twin?
Mar. 28th, 2005 04:00 pmToday, work was much more bearable than last Monday. It was even pleasant at times, especially the little walk I took in the rain on my way to lunch.
It makes me wonder; was last Monday just a horrible abberation, or was this Monday a pleasant one? Only the future holds the answer to that one.
The weekend was pleasant, exhausting, and high-larious. I got off to a rocky start Friday night, but maintained quite nicely. My new wound was barely noticable under the dark lights, and by next week it should only be a little scar. The trip to Salem was more interesting that I was expecting, and I have a lot of information to pass on to Mr Sarcasm and Uruzrune. Thanks to Chameleon Rose for her high strung performance, and the perhaps volatile turn in her and Etienne's relationship? *grin*
Everyone wants to learn Kung Fu. If you don't, you will after watching Shaolin Soccer. The hilarity of that movie holds much promise for Kung Fu Shuffle, which sneaks previews this week in Kendall Sq, or Anytime I Want in my apartment. The power of the scorpion bowls creeps up on you slowly, tai chi style, then bowls you over with the fury of long fist style! In the end, I earned the title of Drunken Master by downing a shot of 151. Well, I felt like I earned the title.
Nothing much to report about Easter save for recovery time, painting, and catching up on some movies. I predict more movie watching in my immediate future...
