Good news?

comes in small steps.
After suffering through so many bad games, I received a boatload of dice karma tonight. That, coupled with some sound tactics, helped me win my quarter final (last week) and semi-final league game (tonight). It only stands to reason that if I talk about the bad rolls here, I should talk about the good ones as well.

Last night shouldn't have been as bleak as I thought it was. Some parts of it were rather nice. I still could have danced more!

Looks like I will have to rectify that tomorrow night. Along with more trips to the gym. And a haircut.

Thanks to those well-wishers I had last night, who talked to me when I was dragging.

Here's to accepting to let the dice fall where they may, and Not Letting Things You Can't Control Bother You.

My car has been rescued

I dropped off some money in the bank, and then took it out again to pay for the tow.
I fired off an e-mail to the folks at Ritual Design for the last of my reimbursement.
They responded today, after the paypal fee it exactly covers the cost of the tow. Score.

Within 3-4 days time, I will be back where I was. Which isn't very good.

I called the student loan office, they are sending me a deferment form so I don't have to pay them for a little bit.
I will be selling at least one more Warhammer army.

I am also going to try to enjoy my time up here over the next month and a half, in case I end up moving away.

So, a question for my readers: What other jobs should I be applying for, i.e., what else could you see me doing and doing well? Besides help desk, or painting miniatures.
