Wednesday night, take two
Jan. 30th, 2003 11:37 pmNate is shaking his set up a bit, he's adding more new tunes, and not playing as many of his old ones. I continue to enjoy hearing him spin at ManRay.
I was still suffering from my extremely early day, which contributed to some crankiness. But when I was out dancing, and dancing for a fair bit, I got my energy back. Like a human alternator.
And even though things were blown all out of proportion, there were several very nice moments during the night. Talking with Ali and Tony for one. Sharing the stage and a warm hug with Ximon at the end of the night. And when things were bleak, having a friend come over to ask me why I was hiding, and sharing pizza after the club until I was ready to go home.
And that concludes my little visit to the past. When I read this entry a year from now (when I do my personal yearly review) I won't remember the things that pissed me off. I will remember the good parts of the night. It's not rewriting history, it's remembering what is important. And learning a lesson.
