Slow steps forward.
Nov. 22nd, 2002 01:27 amThere was only a little wasted time today.
I had lunch with Ali at the King and I today. It delicious and inexpensive food, and we had amazing conversation as usual. I also got to poke my head into this ritzy little market where you can get musk ox flank and alligator and venison (wicked expensive) and rattle snake. $54 dollars for rattlesnake? It would be cheaper to drive out west and buy it there! Still, the alligator looked inexpensive.
Rounded out the day with beers at PJ Ryan’s, painting, and conversation.
There were a couple of good moments that would have become LJ entries, but they slipped away. Writing is a discipline; it's time to buckle down and start up again. Perhaps I'll spin some yarns about my interests, or actually add some more to my list.
Big mage game tomorrow. You have been warned...
