I cast my vote.
I even had to exert some effort to do so, since I lent my roomie the car so he could get to work.
The mile long walk made the voting more fulfilling, even though half the candidates were running unopposed.
There were a much larger number of independent, libertarian, and green parties running, which was very nice to see.
Just seeing those other options gives me a little hope for the future.

In other exciting news, I finished off the first draft of my resume and sent out two applications.

T + 1 week and counting...
One on the nicest things about the unfolding elections is that Shannon can't complain about the third party candidates robbing her of her win. Stein had 3% the last time I checked, the others 1% each. That still has her losing by 4% or so.

Sometimes you have to weather the bad times to find something truly good.
