Friday's mage game had a little hiccup, as one of the character that the story was based around should have died from a gunshot wound. I ended up flexing executive power, and gave them until the end of the combat to spare her life. Initially, I wanted to let the character die, but I decided that the story would better be served by allowing them to pull through, just barely. In fact, the near death experience will serve the story rather nicely. In the future, I may just have to let the chips fall where they may. I don't like killing characters, especially in encounters that are meant to set the scene.

Dancing afterwards was really a lot of fun. ManRay is always a good time when you have a circle of friends to drink with, joke with, and dance with.

Saturday was spent doing very little of consequence, at least until I went to be part of a scavenger hunt for Team Tsuru. We showed up at the end, and they could claim us for points. The experience quickly grew surreal, as drinks starting flowing and chants of "sleeps with judge!" starting ringing out. I thought we'd see broken beer bottles and thrown chairs at any second. There were plans made for something to do that night, but I think everyone realized how bleeding tired they were and fell promptly asleep. At least I did.
