Mar. 21st, 2002 05:24 pmI'm writing from my new work computer. The last few days have been a blur of work, of general optimism and excitement due to various factors. I've had splendid dinners, wonderful company, and generally delightful times outside of work. Work itself is piled high with backed up job orders, sudden emergencies, and looming projects. But I plug through them during the day, and blissfully enjoy my nights.
Despite my earlier anger and fear, I have come away from the Grand Tournament with some good lessons learned, some that I've already put into practice. I still need to sit down and write down my thoughts, so I can pull them from my head and give them form, something tangile I can go back to instead of recreating them through veils of doubt and pain. And there are good times ahead this weekend, and in the coming weeks.
I'm pretty happy.
