I have an answer
Feb. 21st, 2002 10:25 amI know now why I like to exercise, why I push myself to go to the gym every week. I know because I haven't gone for the past two weeks or so. I don't do it for a nice body (which, as Hannibal would say, is incidental). I do it because I feel better. I have more energy, I'm not as tired, I feel deep down good when I've run, or lifted. Seeing as how I spend most of my day sitting in front of computers, and taking the T to work, and not taking martial arts anymore, or walking or biking to classes on campus.... I have to do something. I need the energy. Otherwise I'll just start siphoning it from my co-workers, leaving lifeless husks slumped in front of their keyboards. But they are very hard to clean up w/out being noticed. And that would lead to questions. Which would lead to more husks. Which would lead to investigations by a certain red-haired Federal agent and her egotistical partner. And there's not beating those two. Ever!
