Friday: the quick report

One store wrapped up on Friday, and another one began. Our gaming group resolved the mystery of why one of their number was being kidnapped, repeatedly. One member sought deeper understanding through their life and death experience and then learned there was a little more study involved. I'm not used to having players set out to do something, and having it work out less than I expected. The temptation is strong to let them succeed anyhow: a game is just a game. But that argument works both ways. I'm confident that things will improve, and sometimes not succeeding at first makes victory sweeter in the end.
