Coming out the other side

I'm itchy and anxious to be gone today. But in a good way. Staying at home allowed me to get a full nights sleep, and I was a lot more rested when I got to work. Although I was not any earlier, since I put off cooking my lunch til this morning. Grilling in the morning, awww yeah. I'd like to say that I'll magically find the willpower to start coming in on time, but if they don't acknowledge it, it's going to keep happening. And then I'll be fired, and learn my lesson. Oh well.

The more glimpses I get into the corporate world, and how things run around here, the more I want to be far away from it. Again, I don't want to turn this into a rant. Let's just say common sense has little to do with anything, and my contempt for The Way Things Are Done is entirely justified.

There are spooky sounds in my ears, and friends old and new are talking with me online. There's a little painting, and coffee, and maybe curry fries in my immediate future. The weekend looms with all manner of thrilling adventures. And greet them I will.

okay, on behalf of coffee drinkers everywhere,
i'm insulted!
just kidding....you know how i feel about chai.
now that i am teaching the e.s.l. class nights, i work only
on saturday nights, but not this one coming up because
i am moving.
we need to do a swap.
darkroom stuff for bag of goodies + tennis racket.
