jchrisobrienIt's later than I wanted it to be. Just got back from watching Buffy with Ali. She's another big fan of the show, but isn't around on Tuesday to watch it. Which is where I come in... me and my library of tapes. Buffy was the first show I've kept an archive of. The writing is great, not as much in the individual episodes, but in the way he strings story arcs together over several episodes, how the characters change and grow, even the villains and supporting characters. I take inspiration from him and Neil Gaiman when I work on my own gaming campaigns...
Tomorrow I finally hope to be able to file my tax returns, and get my money in the next two weeks or so. Now, whatever shall I spend it on? Hopefully on something fun, and not some horrible expense or accident.
I can feel the desire to talk about something important worming it's way through my head, but I can't quite get it out. If work keeps going as is has been, I'll have time to think about it tomorrow. Before I know it, I'll be spewing forth pages and pages of stuff. There are some things I really want to get out of my system. I will wrap things up tonight by saying that I had some great conversation with Ali, she's amazingly intelligent and pushes me to think harder than I normally do. I'm very happy to be friends with her.
