Despite the fact the Hellraver punked out and wouldn't play my request, he did play a rockin' set of songs to end out his tenure at ManRay. Or so the rumor has it. Chris also rose to the occasion with a great set of songs. I danced most of the night, with some time out for chatting with people. It was a hell of a good night dancing, and I leff on a positive note. But there's always a little grey out there.

Sometimes, you just can't be friends with people. You can see people you really admire, who seem to be just like you in so many ways. You'd think you really click as friends, and yet it never seems to happen. The more you try, the worse it gets. It really sucks to realize it, but perhaps you just can't be friends with everyone. Would that you could, but I guess you just can't.

Of couse, if you can't see how much I rock, well, there's no helping you now is there?

This little bit of ego is brought to you by the letters, D, A and the number 3.

Special shoutouts to Q and Jennever, who I should have talked to more!

i agree, hellraver did a really good job. it was nice to see so many people in his room most of the night.

its really hard sometimes to realize that not everyone is on the same level as you are. im the same way, in that i try my best to be friendly to just about everyone. its odd how just smiling at someone you recognize from being out a few times a week at the same places, garnishes the most unfriendly responses. theres a few people in particular that i do that with. i smile at them, and i get the weirdest looks, like, "why is that girl smiling at me? i dont know her!". thats when you have to move on and find the people that are going to appreciate your kindness. once you can get to that point, and realize that although you may want them to be, not everyone is worth your energy, you can be okay with stuff like that. im at that point now. i can go to the clubs and be perfectly fine talking to the people i enjoy, and not worry about the others. its taken me a while to do it, but im so glad im at that point now. it actually makes going out fun.

thanks for the shoutout! everytime i saw you, you were out on the dancefloor getting your grove on! that is a very valid excuse for not talking to me. maybe the new dj in the front room wont be all that great and we will have time to talk more ;)

yes, because he's on tour with E-Craft. Once they skip town, he'll be gone again.

Last week and tonight, it appears there will be a rotating crew of DJ's filling in while Hellraver tours with E-Craft.

Do we know if this is just for the duration of the tour, or a permanent change?

I'm going to say for the duration of the tour, but who knows what could happen while he's gone?
