The conflict with Trillian has finally caught up with me, as I can't connect on it.

Anyone have any luck connection with Trillian, or am I banished back to AIM?

From the Trillian site here's the fix:

Many of you reported difficulty connecting to AOL this morning, and the fix is to go into your preferences (Prefs->AIM->Misc) and turn off the "Activate SecureIM Capabilities" feature.

NOTE: If you still cannot login and receive a "you've logged in too many times" error, wait 5-10 minutes for the flag to clear on the servers.

We are working on re-activating SecureIM as soon as possible. Note that it appears to still work under ICQ at the moment.

I'm connected! Of course, I'm at home with my glorious Ethernet, while you people are all at work with your firewalls and other stuff I have no idea what it means. Commence the email bouncing and LJ comments!

I think I'm running 0.722, though the executable I just downloaded was 0.724. What's most important, is that I'm back online! :)

Huh, 724 won't let me on AOL. I'll probably have to wait for 725. :)
